Starkville Area Habitat for Humanity is a Christian organization that seeks to put God's love into action by building homes, communities, and hope. Starkville Area Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing through the construction of new homes with affordable mortgages for homeowners who need a better place to live and are willing to work hard to make a better life for their families. Through your participation in our annual Golf Classic, you are helping us continue our mission. Together we have built 76 homes in Oktibbeha County since our affiliate began in 1986.
About the Mississippi State University Golf Course
The Mississippi State University Golf Course is the host facility for the MSU PGA Golf Management program, MSU Men’s & Women’s Golf Teams and the MSU Golf and Sports Turf Management Program. In 1985 the University hired Brian Ault, ASGCA to design the 6,972-yard 18-hole championship golf course, it opened in 1986. It is ranked among the top 30 university-owned golf courses in the country according to Golfweek Magazine.
